About the event
Farm Friends Chick Hatching funded by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program is a valuable off-site program for Dunmore Equestrian, ran by Joyce Stuber and volunteers. It runs from April 1st to 30th with senior home residents assisting in the monitoring of the chick hatching. After the eggs hatch, the team will leave some of the chicks at the homes for resident to feed, handle and watch them grow. Ten senior homes are taking part in this year's chick hatching program.
