It has been 14 years since Kelly and his family moved to Medicine Hat where he works in the oil and gas industry for the International Petroleum Company Canada. With his wife Sandy, he enjoys team roping, calf roping, breakaway roping, and ribbon roping. As Director of both the South Prairie Team Roping Association and member of the Canadian Classic Rodeo Association, he takes great pride in helping local ranchers brand and move cattle. As a member of the Dunmore Equestrian Board of Directors since 2020, Kelly strongly believes that an indoor equestrian facility should be easily accessible to the community.
